China has not established the rule of law and if there is a power above the law there is no social justice. Everybody can be subjected to harm. I'm just a citizen: my life is equal in value to any other. But I'm thankful that when I lost my freedom so many people shared feelings and put such touching effort into helping me.
Israel was born under the British mandate. We learned from the British what democracy means and how it behaves in a time of danger war and terror. We thank Britain for introducing freedom and respect of human rights both in normal and demanding circumstances.
We in the United States should be all the more thankful for the freedom and religious tolerance we enjoy. And we should always remember the lessons learned from the Holocaust in hopes we stay vigilant against such inhumanity now and in the future.
We can be thankful to a friend for a few acres or a little money and yet for the freedom and command of the whole earth and for the great benefits of our being our life health and reason we look upon ourselves as under no obligation.
I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again and that's my belief. I still don't know what 'Christian' means. I'm a follower of Christ but I keep making a whole bunch of mistakes. And I thank God for forgiveness.

I don't think any other holiday embraces the food of the Midwest quite like Thanksgiving. There's roasted meat and mashed potatoes. But being here is also about heritage. Cleveland is really a giant melting pot - not only is my family a melting pot but so is the city.
I am thankful I was born in America although if I gain any more weight the burqa thing may start to seem like a good idea to me. See? Another plus about America you can always find some food.
I do not knowingly kill any living thing - including insects or rodents - and I thank my food for sustaining me.
Christmas is more stressful with present buying and making sure everyone gets included but Thanksgiving is really not that. I don't ever really get stressed out about the food.
