Faith is an act of rational choice which determines us to act as if certain things were true and in the confident expectation that they will prove to be true.

Tyler Perry's brand is faith family and this whole thing that I've built while my company 34th Street Films is like Disney's Touchstone. We can do anything. People don't know what to expect from me yet.

True fans of the Constitution like true fans of the national pastime acknowledge the critical role of human judgment in making tough calls. We don't expect flawless interpretation. We expect good faith. We demand honesty.

From those to whom much is given much is expected. I have been given much - the love of my family the faith and trust of the people of New York and the chance to lead this state. I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me.

Our system provides for a winner to take office on January 20th and he is expected to take command of the ship of state. Failure to do so characterized by hesitation and indecision will harm the national interest.

So I try not to have any actual expectations for myself for any level of success or failure.

There's something to be said for failing. It's not the failure you feel it's the failure that people project when something disappoints. You're back to ground zero where there's no expectations and that's where I like to be.

If you have a level of expectation in your life that you have to be a quote-unquote star whatever that means you might be setting yourself up for failure.

It's probably foolish to expect relationships to go on forever and to say that because something only lasts 10 years it's a failure.
