I still cook at home. A lot of chefs I think don't cook at home. But I still do I love cooking at home I love having friends.
My free time at home is usually spent emailing listening to music reading and talking on the phone. I wish I was on the phone less but I have been fortunate to stay in touch with so many incredible friends.
I love being at home being with friends and family. I'm of European stock brought up in Australia. I'm a passionate guy. I just love life.
I wish I got a little bit more time at home. I am away a lot and being around my loved ones and friends is good for me. It grounds me. It's something I need to make more time for. I think I need a little more balance.
I like spending time at home. In Paris people drop by and have a bite to eat or they drop by and watch Friends on TV. I take my dog to the office there and I walk to work sometimes.
I'm kind of a dork. I don't have much game. I'm not particularly comfortable in bars or clubs. I much prefer being home playing Scrabble having dinner with a couple friends going to see a movie or losing a whole weekend to Season 14 of Law and Order or The Simpsons.
Don't get me wrong - I've gone to a club. But I'd much rather be with my close friends at home or a concert or on a trip. I'll go dancing with my grandma. She likes to cut a rug!
I usually write away from home in coffee shops on trains on planes in friends' houses. I like places where there's stuff going on that you can lift your eyes see something interesting overhear a conversation.
All of a sudden to get all of this attention and to be away from home and working all the time was hard. I was on planes all the time. I didn't see my friends. I cried a lot. It was quite terrifying.
At home we're the hosts and I never liked the idea of being embarrased in front of our friends.
