In a spiritually sensitive culture then it might well be that age is something to be admired or envied.
These days too many of us seem inclined to cover our ears close our eyes and blindly follow the most narrow conservative tenets of religion or else seek comfort in the ancient traditions of New Age ritual.
I think you can't really escape any kind of spiritual education as a child whether it's New Age or Judaism or Buddhism or whatever it is. You can't escape it even if you completely disagree with it you still have it as a foundation that you base things off of.
You can have a spiritual awakening and discover a new side of you at any age. And best of all love can happen at any age. Life can just start to get exciting when you're in your 40s and 50s. You have to believe that.
The great book for you is the book that has the most to say to you at the moment when you are reading. I do not mean the book that is most instructive but the book that feeds your spirit. And that depends on your age your experience your psychological and spiritual need.
