I'm not trying to be romantic. I think you can tell when people are trying to be sexy onstage. When I was doing 'All the Way ' I was really thinking about my wife. People don't know my personal experience but they can tell it's an honest interpretation.

People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built.

If money education and honesty will not bring to me as much privilege as much equality as they bring to any American citizen then they are to me a curse and not a blessing.

You see Africa makes a fool of our idea of justice. It makes a farce of our idea of equality. It mocks our pieties. It doubts our concern. It questions our commitment. Here are the values that I stand for: honesty equality kindness compassion treating people the way you want to be treated and helping those in need. To me those are traditional values.
