Imagination the supreme delight of the immortal and the immature should be limited. In order to enjoy life we should not enjoy it too much.

But if I have a lot of imagination I could tell myself whatever I wanted you know. I handle myself quite well. I'm kind of fascist with myself you know. There's no discussion. There is an order. You follow it.

Reason is the natural order of truth but imagination is the organ of meaning.

What we imagine is order is merely the prevailing form of chaos.

Whether it's viewers of the show or readers of my columns and books I'm consistently impressed with their wit humor and insight. That goes for about 95 percent of the audience. The other five percent are why the 'Delete' option and restraining orders were invented.

You say that your hope is in God and he will I am sure stand by you. But you must not forget that you have been given worldly means to use and employ against human arrogance and wrong it is necessary to see such things with a broad mind in order to oppose them.

You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply with greater vision with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.

In all honesty at that time I never saw myself as an author... I was just a Mom in a state of panic trying to enter a short story contest to win the prize money in order to keep the lights on in my home.
