The dubbing of the music and effects is really incredible today. You're feeling gun shots. I mean it's not the way people say it is but the gunshot sounds real. And cars sound real. Among the many things in the evolution (of movies) is to make the sound in the movie incredible. That's what you feel.

I watch and listen to movies today and am shocked by the way actors deliver their lines. Everybody mumbles now and I don't understand why.

And you also have to do movies that are about commerce because that's what is required of the industry today.

If you really want to be competitive in today's market you have to be in movies that make money.

Even today in our progressive times in most movies that come out the men have to have biceps and the women have to be thin or something.

A lot of action movies today seem to have scenes that just lead up to the action.

Some mornings you wake up and think gee I look handsome today. Other days I think what am I doing in the movies? I wanna go back to Ireland and drive a forklift.
