God asks no man whether he will accept life. That is not the choice. You must take it. The only choice is how.

My main point here is that if you are the child of God and God is a part of you the in your imagination God suppose to look like you. And when you accept a picture of the deity assigned to you by another people you become the spiritual prisoners of that other people.

And as I grew older I then auditioned for the Royal Academy of Music in London and they said well no we won't accept you because we haven't a clue - you know - of the future of a so-called 'deaf' musician. And I just couldn't quite accept that.

The risk presented by these lethal wastes is like no other risk and we should not be expected to accept it or to project it into the future in order for manufacturers and utilities to make a dollar killing now.

Of course there are critics who believe that no matter what we do the Florida dream is over. They claim that we must accept the idea that inevitably our future is one of high taxes and big government.

I believe life is a series of near misses. A lot of what we ascribe to luck is not luck at all. It's seizing the day and accepting responsibility for your future. It's seeing what other people don't see And pursuing that vision.

Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.

Every man has his own destiny: the only imperative is to follow it to accept it no matter where it leads him.

I think one of the basic tasks in life - one of the nice things we can do for each other - is to take things that are horrible and scary and make them acceptable and less frightening and if possible funny. It feels great to succeed at that.

Everything seems fine until you're about 40. Then something is definitely beginning to go wrong. And you look in the mirror with your old habit of thinking 'While I accept that everyone grows old and dies it's a funny thing but I'm an exception to that rule.'
