In Paris one is always reminded of being a foreigner. If you park your car wrong it is not the fact that it's on the sidewalk that matters but the fact that you speak with an accent.

I remember being at Greenblatt's on Sunset and some guy just walked straight up to me and he had some bling on and whatever and said something about a party down in Malibu and asked if I would jump in his car and go to the party. All I could think was 'Who are you? I don't know you and I don't care about how good your car is.'

The hardest part was when I was in high school not having a job and always being broke. I had to get to auditions without a car. I either took the bus or walked.

Once when I was 16 I had my car taken away from me for being past curfew. Oh and I said a bad word once and I actually did get my mouth washed out with soap.

It's just that fun atmosphere working on the car being with the guys. This is exactly what I needed.

All the times being like 'Who rented this car and why are we going to this place?' You take the easy route and go 'Oh thanks for the champagne. I'll have another.'

I think fear is what keeps us from going over the edge. I mean as a race car driver I don't think what makes a good race car driver is a fearless person. I think it's somebody that is comfortable being behind the wheel of something that's somewhat out of control.

I have mentally overcome situations most of you would be terrified to ever attempt: heights fire needles spiders snakes angry monkeys being shot being hit by a car going blind - you name it I have been in a situation where I have had to mentally overcome my inherent fears to do my job.
