I have a great respect for incremental improvement and I've done that sort of thing in my life but I've always been attracted to the more revolutionary changes. I don't know why. Because they're harder. They're much more stressful emotionally. And you usually go through a period where everybody tells you that you've completely failed.

The relationships that people have - that are sexual psychological emotional - these relationships are not open to supervision by parents schools churches or government. Nobody has any right to intervene at all in any kind of relationship like that.

You could write a song about some kind of emotional problem you are having but it would not be a good song in my eyes until it went through a period of sensitivity to a moment of clarity. Without that moment of clarity to contribute to the song it's just complaining.

Normal people have an incredible lack of empathy. They have good emotional empathy but they don't have much empathy for the autistic kid who is screaming at the baseball game because he can't stand the sensory overload. Or the autistic kid having a meltdown in the school cafeteria because there's too much stimulation.

You know when you really connect with the instrument and everything just comes out on an emotional level very naturally through your playing. That's you know a great night. And I think the reason I love touring so much is you're chasing that high around all the time trying to have another good night.

This battle for 'common-sense' gun control laws pits emotion and passion against logic and reason. All too often in such a contest logic loses. So expect more meaningless if not harmful 'gun control' legislation. Good news - if you're a crook.

People think love is an emotion. Love is good sense.

Healing rain is a real touch from God. It could be physical healing or emotional or whatever.

A person cannot love a plant after he has pruned it then he has either done a poor job or is devoid of emotion.
