I believe that the people instead of pretty lies should be told the truth no matter how ugly it may be. What can we do destiny hasn't been kind to us but with the help of God we will prevail.

Growing up if I hadn't had sports I don't know where I'd be. God only knows what street corners I'd have been standing on and God only knows what I'd have been doing but instead I played hockey and went to school and stayed out of trouble.

The God we serve does not seek out the perfect but instead uses our imperfections and our shortcomings for his greater good. I am humbled by my own limitations. But where I am weak He is strong.

God does not die on the day when we cease to believe in a personal deity but we die on the day when our lives cease to be illumined by the steady radiance renewed daily of a wonder the source of which is beyond all reason.

It's God's will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty. It's God's will for you to pay your bills and not be in debt.

Instead of causing us to remember the past like the old monuments the new monuments seem to cause us to forget the future.

Instead of seeing these children for the blessings that they are we are measuring them only by the standard of whether they will be future deficits or assets for our nation's competitive needs.

Since we can't know what knowledge will be most needed in the future it is senseless to try to teach it in advance. Instead we should try to turn out people who love learning so much and learn so well that they will be able to learn whatever needs to be learned.

In the future instead of striving to be right at a high cost it will be more appropriate to be flexible and plural at a lower cost. If you cannot accurately predict the future then you must flexibly be prepared to deal with various possible futures.

Why not invest in the future of music instead of building fortresses to preserve its past?
