A lot of my friends are gangsters. Not like gangsters - well yeah all sorts of levels of criminality - but not the types that are preying on innocent people. I have no interest in the type of criminality that has no respect for collateral damage.
I keep it real normal like I don't try to act like a celebrity or say that just because I'm on a TV show I can do other types of TV. I take it very seriously and I respect the art of acting.
With respect to the respective French and German traditions you are no doubt correct although I am reluctant to see individual achievement reduced to archetypes.
Stereotypes lose their power when the world is found to be more complex than the stereotype would suggest. When we learn that individuals do not fit the group stereotype then it begins to fall apart.
I would love to hear all types of Christian artists played all over the world. I'd love to hear good positive mainstream music played all over the place. I'd love to be able to bring music together. But I have not deserted Christ. I have not deserted my faith.
I've had to deal with all different types of situations - positive and negative and extremes of both.
This aesthetic quality then is what politics is all about. It's authenticity that separates winners from losers good politics from bad and he-man leader-types from consultant-directed puppet-boys.
