Throughout the centuries man has considered himself beautiful. I rather suppose that man only believes in his own beauty out of pride that he is not really beautiful and he suspects this himself for why does he look on the face of his fellow-man with such scorn?

Art is nothing but the expression of our dream the more we surrender to it the closer we get to the inner truth of things our dream-life the true life that scorns questions and does not see them.

It's high time for the art world to admit that the avant-garde is dead. It was killed by my hero Andy Warhol who incorporated into his art all the gaudy commercial imagery of capitalism (like Campbell's soup cans) that most artists had stubbornly scorned.

Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.
