Teachers make a difference and we would serve our students better by focusing on attracting and retaining the quality teachers by raising teacher pay.

After a lifetime of working raising families and contributing to the success of this nation in countless other ways senior citizens deserve to retire with dignity.

Raising children is an uncertain thing success is reached only after a life of battle and worry.

In praising science it does not follow that we must adopt the very poor philosophies which scientific men have constructed. In philosophy they have much more to learn than to teach.

Teachers started recognizing me and praising me for being smart in science and that made me want to be even smarter in science!

We don't do drugs drink or use profanity. Instead we instill morals and values in my boys by raising them with a love of God and a love and respect for themselves and all people. I believe they will have a chance.

Nevertheless there is another threat on the horizon. I see this threat in environmentalism which is becoming a new dominant ideology if not a religion. Its main weapon is raising the alarm and predicting the human life endangering climate change based on man-made global warming.

I think that giving mindless praise is ridiculous. But I understand why parents do it. They want their kids to feel good about themselves. But parents are never going to teach their children true positive self esteem by praising everything they do.

There are a lot of grotesqueries in politics not the least of which is the fund-raising side.

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent rebellion and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.
