I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage. But when you start playing around with constitutions just to prohibit somebody who cares about another person it just seems to me that's not what America's about. Usually our constitutions expand liberties they don't contract them.

Why don't they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning anything? If it works as well as prohibition did in five years Americans would be the smartest race of people on Earth.

The point is that knowledge of God is not prohibited under the First Amendment.

My folks were raised pure prohibitionist. They were very good people with high moral standards - but very repressed. There was no hugging and kissing in my home.

To be honest when I'm home every day is a Friday for me. It doesn't really matter what day it is for me. A lot of my friends actually have time off during the week and so it doesn't prohibit me from enjoying myself when I am home on a Monday or a Tuesday.

Col. Shaffer is prohibited by his lawyer from talking. He's at great risk. They want to take away his pay and his health care benefits so they can hold it over his head and not allow him to talk while he's under suspension. This is not America.

The Framers of the Bill of Rights did not purport to 'create' rights. Rather they designed the Bill of Rights to prohibit our Government from infringing rights and liberties presumed to be preexisting.

The Establishment Clause prohibits government from making adherence to a religion relevant in any way to a person's standing in the political community.

Instead of giving money to found colleges to promote learning why don't they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning anything? If it works as good as the Prohibition one did why in five years we would have the smartest race of people on earth.

Trying to tear down the past prohibits you from building up your future.
