I actually think with age comes some level of wisdom.

A lot of people think I'm that guy in 'Betsy's Wedding' but I'm not. What it is for me is that on some level I connect with the character emotionally.

It was a requirement by the veterans to list the 57 000 names. We're reaching a time that we'll acknowledge the individual in a war on a national level.

If the president is failing to disclose material facts with regard to legislation being presented to the Congress on a question as important as war and peace I think it does impair the level of trust that the House and the Senate have for this administration.

These are very subtle things of course and I don't expect everyone to pick them up consciously but I think that there is something there that you must be able to feel there is an energy at work that I must trust my audience will be able to pick up at some level.

I don't trust doctors. It's not to say there ain't some good ones but on a general level no I wouldn't trust 'em at all.

If we really want to be full and generous in spirit we have no choice but to trust at some level.

Trust your hunches. They're usually based on facts filed away just below the conscious level.

When I think of myself at 15 even 17 I could simply not have done this work on an international level and travel all the time take care of myself and not feel lost. I feel very happy that this is happening now and not 10 years ago as I feel stronger as a person.

But as far as being an American and loving this country and getting a chance to travel across it every day and meeting people on the road and folks in the military I love this country on so many different levels.
