It's easy to impress me. I don't need a fancy party to be happy. Just good friends good food and good laughs. I'm happy. I'm satisfied. I'm content.

Faith makes all evil good to us and all good better unbelief makes all good evil and all evil worse. Faith laughs at the shaking of the spear unbelief trembles at the shaking of a leaf.

When I was a kid I wanted to be serious like Daniel Day-Lewis. No one really dreams of being a comic actor do they? Now I realise how stupid that is - and it's because comic acting isn't taken seriously enough. It's a discipline. You know instantly - either you're funny and getting the laughs or you're not.

My dad doesn't get any of my jokes. He laughs at them but he doesn't understand them. He's just laughing because people around him are laughing.

He who laughs best today will also laughs last.

The jokes are great but what really matters for a comedian is his performance his whole attitude and the laughs that he gets between the jokes rather than on top of the jokes.

The only honest art form is laughter comedy. You can't fake it... try to fake three laughs in an hour - ha ha ha ha ha - they'll take you away man. You can't.

What starts the process really are laughs and slights and snubs when you are a kid. If your anger is deep enough and strong enough you learn that you can change those attitudes by excellence personal gut performance.

My dream career would be to be in things that have real heart and are telling real stories but while doing that you're getting really big laughs. I don't necessarily love the straight crazy comedies. 'Caddyshack' is amazing but there's not a lot of new 'Caddyshack's.
