Teachers say their schools of education did not adequately prepare them for the classroom. They would have welcomed more mentoring and feedback in their early years.

I can't be a hypocrite as a coach because as a player that's what I wanted. I wanted feedback I wanted communication from the boss. I showed up for work you can yell at me if you want but I want input. So that's the kind of coach I want to be.

Don't solicit feedback on your product idea or your business just for validation purposes. You want to tell the people who can help move your idea forward but if you're just looking to your friend co-worker husband or wife for validation be careful. It can stop a lot of multimillion-dollar ideas in their tracks in the beginning.
