The release of atomic energy has not created a new problem. It has merely made more urgent the necessity of solving an existing one.

When I'm on stage it's a little world I've created where I'm sort of the thing so I have total control over everything that happens. When we're improvising I'm with someone I totally trust. I know things are going to work out. I don't have those guarantees in life. There are no consequences on stage.

Never trust the artist. Trust the tale. The proper function of the critic is to save the tale from the artist who created it.

No greater thing is created suddenly any more than a bunch of grapes or a fig. If you tell me that you desire a fig I answer you that there must be time. Let it first blossom then bear fruit then ripen.

We all knew this. We all knew that it would take more time than any of us want to dig ourselves out of this hole created by this economic crisis.

The history of the music industry is inevitably also the story of the development of technology. From the player piano to the vinyl disc from reel-to-reel tape to the cassette from the CD to the digital download these formats and devices changed not only the way music was consumed but the very way artists created it.

Society will decide after the technology is created what we will and won't accept.

Well another market is being created now out of Internet technology.

Encouragement from my high school teacher Patty Hart said 'you need to focus and theater might be your route out of here.' I created the program went to college and graduate school and now here I am.

He was the editor of our paper. He created the publishing house in Hebrew. He was - I wouldn't say the 'guru' - but really he was our teacher and a most respected man. I wrote for the paper of the youth movement.
