I would absolutely love to go back to the simplicity of the '80s where there wasn't texting social media iPhones or smartphones. I love the fact that you would go home and check your messages. I'm not well suited to the world of modern technology.

I never wore a tie voluntarily even though I was forced to wear one for photos when I was young and for official events at school. I used to wrap my tie in a newspaper and whenever the teacher checked I would quickly put it on again. I'm not used to it. Most Bolivians don't wear ties.

Once I was checking to hotel and a couple saw my ring with Blues on it. They said 'You play blues. That music is so sad.' I gave them tickets to the show and they came up afterwards and said 'You didn't play one sad song.'

The sad thing is most people have to check with someone before they do the things that make them happy. We're all passing through the least we can do is be happy and the only way to do that is by being selfish.

We have to unclutter our brains from worries that maybe people don't like us. Women tend to worry about popularity it doesn't matter if they like you. They need to respect you. They need to show that respect for you in your pay check. And that needs to be okay.
