A lot of victims for example have become addicted to alcohol and drugs. It seems to me that the church's healing ministry is going to be enhanced through this in much broader strokes. That's good it's all positive.

Alcohol gives you infinite patience for stupidity.

The sway of alcohol over mankind is unquestionably due to its power to stimulate the mystical faculties of human nature usually crushed to earth by the cold facts and dry criticisms of the sober hour.

If we became students of Malcolm X we would not have young black men out there killing each other like they're killing each other now. Young black men would not be impregnating young black women at the rate going on now. We'd not have the drugs we have now or the alcoholism.

My second marriage had a lot to do with alcohol.

Anyway no drug not even alcohol causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles we shouldn't test people for drugs we should test them for stupidity ignorance greed and love of power.

Alcohol is the anesthesia by which we endure the operation of life.
