Christ would be a national advertiser today I am sure as He was a great advertiser in His own day. He thought of His life as business.
The business of the advertiser is to see that we go about our business with some magic spell or tune or slogan throbbing quietly in the background of our minds.
In day-to-day commerce television is not so much interested in the business of communications as in the business of delivering audiences to advertisers. People are the merchandise not the shows. The shows are merely the bait.
