The only thing Martha and I have in common is that we both used to model. Martha Stewart is extremely talented. Her designs are picture perfect. Our philosophy is life is messy and rather than being afraid of those messes we design products that work the way we live.

As all human beings are in my view creatures of God's design we must respect all other human beings. That does not mean I have to agree with their choices or agree with their opinions but indeed I respect them as human beings.

Design is directed toward human beings. To design is to solve human problems by identifying them and executing the best solution.

I design for the woman who loves being a woman.

This is what I like about being a designer: You can't really get it until you see it.

When we are dealing with death we are constantly being dragged down by the event: Humor diverts our attention and lifts our sagging spirits.

The death penalty is being applied in the United States as a fatal lottery.

There are some people who walk into a room and they oxygenate it by their very being there's fresh air. Then there are those who come in with the smell of death and they suck the life out.

The American people are not just being taxed to death they're being taxed after death. But no one should have to sell the life's work of a parent or a loved one just to pay the federal government.

The elimination of the fear of death transforms the individual's way of being in the world.
