Under no stretch of imagination can war be regarded as an ethical process yet war force terror and propaganda were the evolutionary means employed to weld the German people into a tribal whole.

Perhaps naively I thought people understand what humor was that it was invented by the human race to cope with the dark areas of life problems and terrors.

I like to deal with EVERY aspect of our condition and that means terror and humor in equal mix. Some books have more room for humor than others.

Imagine if you had baseball cards that showed all the performance stats for your people: batting averages home runs errors ERAs win/loss records. You could see what they did well and poorly and call on the right people to play the right positions in a very transparent way.

The relevance for 9/11 is that what 9/11 marked was the beginning of a struggle in which the terrorists come at us and strike us here on our home territory. And it's a global operation. It doesn't know national boundaries or national borders.

These fallen heroes represent the character of a nation who has a long history of patriotism and honor - and a nation who has fought many battles to keep our country free from threats of terror.
