Disappointment is inevitable. But to become discouraged there's a choice I make. God would never discourage me. He would always point me to himself to trust him. Therefore my discouragement is from Satan. As you go through the emotions that we have hostility is not from God bitterness unforgiveness all of these are attacks from Satan.

There was a certain point in my life where I had to decide that I was going to take my future and Nicole's and not wallow in what happened to me because when you do that you just keep repeating what's been happening and at some point you have to make a choice.

Our choices are going to determine the future for our children our children's children and their children. I take that responsibility very seriously.

I was offered a choice of a flat salary up front or a percentage of the film's future earnings. I took the up front money. Nobody could have figured what Halloween would ultimately become.

In retrospect the Millennium marked only a moment in time. It was the events of September 11 that marked a turning point in history where we confront the dangers of the future and assess the choices facing humankind.

Up against the corporate government voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust.

To me living in the present means being aware of your conscious choice to focus on the past present or future - it is not necessarily having to focus on the present.
