I learn something from criticism because when it comes from sources you respect you always examine it and learn.

I have learned to respect ideas wherever they come from. Often they come from clients. Account executives often have big creative ideas regardless of what some writers think.

Like Christ said love thee one another. I learned to do that and I learned to respect and be appreciative and thankful for what I had.

I just want to work and learn from people I respect and admire.

But it's important while we are supporting lessons in respecting others to remember that many of our youngest kids need to learn to respect themselves. You learn your worth from the way you are treated.

We shall listen not lecture learn not threaten. We will enhance our safety by earning the respect of others and showing respect for them. In short our foreign policy will rest on the traditional American values of restraint and empathy not on military might.

We learned about gratitude and humility - that so many people had a hand in our success from the teachers who inspired us to the janitors who kept our school clean... and we were taught to value everyone's contribution and treat everyone with respect.

But really we also need to learn how to love one another as women. How to appreciate and respect each other.

Most modern science fiction went to school on 'Dune.' Even 'Harry Potter' with its 'boy protagonist who has not yet grown into his destiny' shares a common theme. When I read it for the first time I felt like I had learned another language mastered a new culture adopted a new religion.

I don't normally talk about my religion publicly because I don't want people to associate me and my flaws with this beautiful thing. And I believe it is beautiful if you learn it the right way.
