Unless man is committed to the belief that all mankind are his brothers then he labors in vain and hypocritically in the vineyards of equality.

Time after time we're told corporations should have freedom from pesky job safety regulations environmental protections and labor standards - giving working people the freedom to be crushed in collapsing mines choke on filthy air and get paid too little to live on.

Fracking is doable if there's full disclosure of all chemicals used. Secondly science dictates the policy rather than politics. Third there's collaboration between environmental groups and the natural gas industry.

Unfortunately the real achievements of children on the ground became debased and devalued because Labor education secretaries sounded like Soviet commissars praising the tractor production figures when we know that those exams were not the rock-solid measures of achievement that children deserve.

And what is liberty whose very name makes the heart beat faster and shakes the world? Is it not the union of all liberties - liberty of conscience of education of association of the press of travel or labor or trade?

The progress of freedom depends more upon the maintenance of peace the spread of commerce and the diffusion of education than upon the labors of cabinets and foreign offices.

I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built up on the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think.

But I'm blessed to work with great people. I collaborate with brilliant stylists both here and in Paris. I work with a great design team. I really allow everyone to bring their ideas. I almost rely on them to inspire me.

Marc Jacobs is full of creative people and Louis Vuitton is again a name on the door a name that has existed for many years but I'm a collaborator there and I bring in other people other artists and I work with a great creative design team.
