You know you don't retreat in the defense of freedom. You don't retreat in the defense of moral government and limited government. You don't retreat because people are going to defend bad things.

Freedom and responsibility aren't interconnected things. They are the same thing.

One of the things that bothers me most is the growing belief in the country that security is more important than freedom. It ain't.

I am a passionate believer in freedom of speech. I would not support anything which would impinge on aggressive robust freedom of the British press but when things go wrong and there has been outright illegality there should be proper accountability.
