I'm one of those people that thinks the Internet is amazing and I can't believe it exists.

I really love the internet. They say chat-rooms are the trailer park of the internet but I find it amazing.
Shockingly a University of Pennsylvania study says the number of young people addicted to gambling - largely due to increased exposure to the Internet and Internet gambling - grew by an alarming 20 percent between 2004 and 2005 alone.
What troubles me is the Internet and the electronic technology revolution. Shyness is fueled in part by so many people spending huge amounts of time alone isolated on e-mail in chat rooms which reduces their face-to-face contact with other people.
To own the dominant or only newspaper in a mid-sized American city was for many decades a kind of license to print money. In the Internet age however no one has figured out how to rescue the newspaper in the United States or abroad.
A final word: I am not knowledgeable about the internet. I do not have a computer. I guess that at 74 years of age I don't have the patience to learn.
In this age of media and Internet access we are much more talkative than ever before.
Non-disclosure in the Internet Age is quickly perceived as a breach of trust. Government corporations and each of us as individuals must recalibrate how we live and share our lives appropriate to the information now available and the expectations of others.
