More is required of public officials than slogans and handshakes and press releases. More is required. We must hold ourselves strictly accountable. We must provide the people with a vision of the future.

I know why I am here and my only real focused goal is to live each day to the fullest and to try and honor God and be an encouragement to others. What the future holds is firmly in God's hands and I am very happy about that!

Let others lead small lives but not you. Let others argue over small things but not you. Let others cry over small hurts but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands but not you.

It's harder to be funny if you're handsome than if you're very normal-looking. It's just more relatable. You're the underdog. I mean it's funny to see people struggle and you don't buy that Brad Pitt is struggling you know that guy could be the most skill-less guy in the world but if you look like that you will be fine for the rest of your life.

I listen like mad to any conversation taking place next to me just trying to hear why this is funny. Women's restrooms are especially great. I wash my hands twice waiting for people to come in and start talking.

Every man's dream is to be able to sink into the arms of a woman without also falling into her hands.

When the world is so complicated the simple gift of friendship is within all of our hands.

Even in the common affairs of life in love friendship and marriage how little security have we when we trust our happiness in the hands of others!

The American idea is as promising imaginative and full of the unexpected as the land itself. The land represents freedom - the frontier the ability to make a new future with your own bare hands.

But if people want to swim in the Thames if they want to take their lives into their own hands then they should be able to do so with all the freedom and exhilaration of our woad-painted ancestors.
