Your joys and sorrows. You can never tell them. You cheapen the inside of yourself if you do tell them.

Acting can be pretty challenging. I can't say making a romantic comedy is challenging but to do anything well you have to put yourself into it.

The worst thing that an actor can do is go into any project with a lack of respect for the material. You can have an opinion about it but you have to respect yourself in doing it.

I did learn that it was the greatest thing in the world to respect yourself. Respect other people.

Respect talent. Get respect where respect is due but don't be caught up in yourself where you do things obliviously and not pay attention to what is going on.

You can't respect yourself if you're afraid to be who you are.
