It is a weird feeling to have people go 'Hey Chris' like they know me. But number one 99 percent of my experiences have been really cool. People couldn't be nicer and more positive.

Orlando's a really cool guy. They hired him for 'Lord of the Rings' out of drama school. He's very new at this still and doesn't have a lot of experience. So we were in this together and we've tried to help each other out. We felt very equal which was good.

Sure climbing Mount Everest would be cool but that's something I would now like to do as a family. Big experiences like that I don't want to have on my own anymore. I want to share them.

I just hope that theaters remain. I think there's something very wonderful about getting into a dark room with a bunch of people. There's something cool about that. Brings us all together in one room where we can experience all those emotions.

Theaters are always going to be around and doing fine. With computers and technology we're becoming more and more secluded from each other. And the movie theater is one of the last places where we can still gather and experience something together. I don't think the desire for that magic will ever go away.

Poetry is the communication through words of certain experiences that can be communicated in no other way.

But if I can be convinced and then through the work that we do together the orchestra can really be convinced of the big sweep of that communication that the piece suggests then the audience will get it and it will be a good experience for all of us.

We are all born with a unique genetic blueprint which lays out the basic characteristics of our personality as well as our physical health and appearance... And yet we all know that life experiences do change us.

I always try to keep the circumstances in my life fresh. I like to change the physical environment I live in change the people around me and try to experience things for the first time. I think that keeps one on their toes creatively and spiritually.

To be in a situation where you have no rights whatsoever is something I wish everybody could experience. People's attitudes would change. It would be a better place.
