And I hope America will realise as the only superpower now it really must use its power in a way that's going to build up the world and to support the United Nations.

Certain it is that a great responsibility rests upon the statesmen of all nations not only to fulfill the promises for reduction in armaments but to maintain the confidence of the people of the world in the hope of an enduring peace.

Those nations have a very great responsibility at this juncture of the world's affairs for by throwing their joint weight into the scales of history on the right side they may tip the balance decisively in favour of peace.
