The response of anybody interested in liberty is that we all have a say and the ability to have an argument is exactly what liberty is even though it may never be resolved. In any authoritarian society the possessor of power dictates and if you try and step outside he will come after you.

These groups within a society can he distinguished according as to whether like an army or an orchestra they function as a single body or whether they are united merely to defend their common interests and otherwise function as separate individuals.

I want to help middle-school girls stay interested in math and be good at it and see it as friendly and accessible and not this scary thing. Everyone else in society tells them it's not for them. It's for nerdy white guys with pocket protectors.

Corporate executives need to re-frame their responsibilities to include the interests of all the stakeholders in society at large not just shareholders but also employees the citizens of our communities and those who care about the environment.

I'm interested in that drive that rush to judgment that is so prevalent in our society.We all know that pleasurable rush that comes from condemning and in the short term it's quite a satisfying thing to do isn't it?

The individual is not accountable to society for his actions in so far as these concern the interests of no person but himself.

He who stands aloof runs the risk of believing himself better than others and misusing his critique of society as an ideology for his private interest.

I hope there have been times when I made you all proud or made you all smile or at least piqued your interest in this wonderful institution we call government.

A simple compliment goes a really long way - for a guy to just come over and say 'You have great hair' or 'I really like your dress ' and then just smile and walk away. That's a great move because he's sort of putting himself out there by doing that but it won't lead to any embarrassment if the girl isn't interested.

Usually if you smile at them and show some interest in the toy they will give it to you. That's a straight up Democrat move!
