There's not one major greatest influence on my career. It would be film and great artists and great imagineers - Jim Henson Walt Disney Charlie Chaplin people who understand the joy of the imagination.

The openness of rural Nebraska certainly influenced me. That openness in a way fosters the imagination. But growing up Lincoln wasn't a small town. It was a college town. It had record stores and was a liberal place.

There is a boundary to men's passions when they act from feelings but none when they are under the influence of imagination.

So influenced by these advisors and this hope I have at length allowed my friends to publish the work as they had long besought me to do.

I came from a broken home so my mom was a major influence in my life.

When my mother got home from work she would take me to the movies. It was her way of getting out and she would take me with her. I'd go home and act all the parts. It had a tremendous influence on my becoming an actor.
