I don't hate humanity and I'm not interested in people who do. Although it's funny actually some of my favorite writers really do. Like Martin Amis. My dirty secret. 'London Fields' is one of my favorite books ever. And it's indefensible! But he's so funny... I forgive him everything.

The cause of freedom is not the cause of a race or a sect a party or a class-it is the cause of human kind the very birthright of humanity.

We in the United States should be all the more thankful for the freedom and religious tolerance we enjoy. And we should always remember the lessons learned from the Holocaust in hopes we stay vigilant against such inhumanity now and in the future.

When freedom does not have a purpose when it does not wish to know anything about the rule of law engraved in the hearts of men and women when it does not listen to the voice of conscience it turns against humanity and society.

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy happiness negativity pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

For me forgiveness and compassion are always linked: how do we hold people accountable for wrongdoing and yet at the same time remain in touch with their humanity enough to believe in their capacity to be transformed?

Humanity is never so beautiful as when praying for forgiveness or else forgiving another.

I can't understand people calling themselves religious and being hateful. If a preacher is preaching hate to fear God that's not religion that's not helping humanity that's organizing an army to defeat somebody.

Fear makes us feel our humanity.

I think that people who are famous tend to be underdeveloped in their humanity skills.
