I love being on stage if I'm not on a set. If I'm at home I'm usually in my office editing or reconstructing my website or whatever it may be. I just love putting creativity into a performance so if the right script comes along and I certainly am reading comedies and dramas now then I'm ready willing and able to give it a shot.

Every woman I've had a relationship with has found this maddening the fact that I will talk about anything on the stage and reveal all this stuff and yet when I'm at home I clam up and won't discuss anything intimate or personal.

The aesthetic came along the way I think - just through experimenting and going on tour and trying stuff out on stage having fun with it and not taking it too seriously. If I had a ballgown at home I'd wear it onstage. If I found something in a charity shop I'd wear it. That's where it grew from - just wanting to play dress-up.

I think it can be hard for any man to sometimes be upstaged by his wife. So when I'm home I work very hard to be Todd's wife and Jade's mother. I have no problem going back to those traditional roles. I try to be Giada the young girl that he met 20 years ago and fell in love with.

I feel that I'm at my best as a person and that I'm coming home when I walk on to a set or on to a stage so if I can perform in one way or another I think I'll be okay.

I'm most at home on the stage. I was carried onstage for the first time when I was six months old.

Since the departure of good old-fashioned entertainers the re-emergence of somebody who wants to be an entertainer has unfortunately become a synonym for camp. I don't think I'm camper than any other person who felt at home on stage and felt more at home on stage than he did offstage.

The most compelling reason for most people to buy a computer for the home will be to link it to a nationwide communications network. We're just in the beginning stages of what will be a truly remarkable breakthrough for most people - as remarkable as the telephone.
