Being a teen is past for me. Worrying about the world and my place in it is not.

I decided that if I were to write a teen series I'd want to set it in a place that was familiar to me - Manhattan where I'd grown up - and I'd model the characters on myself and my friends.

Technology makes the world a new place.

I knew from the beginning that privacy was going to be a huge issue especially with regard to applying Total Information Awareness in counterterrorism. Because if the technology development was successful a logical place to apply it was inside the United States.

Stop relying only on technology.Technology can help the qualified well-trained human being but cannot replace him.

IBM's long-standing mantra is 'Think.' What has always made IBM a fascinating and compelling place for me is the passion of the company and its people to apply technology and scientific thinking to major societal issues.

The technology is really where all of the changes have taken place but the fundamentals of a good story being the basis of every good picture and really the only basis still remains the rule more so today I think because we've unfortunately weaned an audience from birth to kind of mindless movies.

While there have been terrific advances in the state of technology around heuristics behavior blocking and things like that technology is only a part of the approach to solving the problem with the more important aspect involving putting the right process in place.

Advancements in technology have become so commonplace that sometimes we forget to stop and think about how incredible it is that a girl on her laptop in Texas can see photos and cell phone video in real time that a young college student has posted of a rally he's at in Iran.

I'm of the opinion that the technology is in a place where there's really no excuse not to just make your movie.
