No I think the future of humanity will be like the past we'll do what we've always done and there will still be human beings. Granted there will always be people doing something different and there are a lot of possibilities.

There is no word for feeling nostalgic about the future but that's what a parent's tears often are a nostalgia for something that has not yet occurred. They are the pain of hope the helplessness of hope and finally the surrender to hope.

Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.

Yeah it's odd when you look back at your own work. Some filmmakers don't look back at their work at all. I look at my work a lot actually. I feel like I learned something while looking at stuff I've done in terms of what I'm going to do in the future mistakes I've made and things at work or what have you.

The people in charge globally are maniacs. They are maniacs and unless we do something about it these people are going to deprive us of a future.

I said peace is sometimes narrowly interpreted it's the absence of conflict between nations or something. But peace is more inherent more basic to human life human beings what we feel about each other what we feel about life around us and what we see in our future.

I'm not sitting dwelling about the past or stressing or fretting about something in the future.
