One man scorned and covered with scars still strove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable stars and the world will be better for this.

My friend and I sang an a cappella rendition of Extreme's 'More Than Words' at one of our football pep rallies in a desperate attempt to look cool. For a while I wore pink Converse All Stars because I thought it made me seem daring and irreverent.

I like being out front doing what I do but then I also like playing in a band too. I'd like to do stuff like I did with Deee-lite. I went out and played with them and they were the stars that was cool.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember you have within you the strength the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

I'm ashamed to say this but I watched every episode of 'Starsky and Hutch' as a kid. I loved that show but now I think it's stupid - they'd have a car chase for no reason then Paul Michael Glaser would shoot the car and it would blow up.

You want to try and bring a character to life in an honest a way as you possibly can. It doesn't matter whether he's a doctor an actor a car salesman or a captain of a starship. If you can bring truth and honesty to that character then your audience will believe you.

Paul is Starsky and I met him before shooting. He was very kind and encouraged us to go with what we wanted to do. It was very sweet to see them back with the car after 25 years.

I think we have to act like stars because it is expected of us. So we drive our big cars and live in our smart houses.

At the end of the day there's only a few major stars in the music business and then there's all these people that are aspiring to be that.

Some people work hard in this business and become really popular really big stars but they never receive an award from within the business. Somehow when your colleagues and friends believe in you to the point of handing you an award it means so much more.
