A clever imagination humorous request can open closed doors and closed minds.

The combination of landing the biggest interview of my career and having a drill in my back reminds me that God only gives us what we can handle and that it helps to have a good sense of humor when we run smack into the absurdity of life.

Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives.

Families are the tie that reminds us of yesterday provide strength and support today and give us hope for tomorrow. No government no matter how well-intentioned or well-managed can provide what our families provide.

In motivating people you've got to engage their minds and their hearts. I motivate people I hope by example - and perhaps by excitement by having productive ideas to make others feel involved.

The trouble with most people is that they think with their hopes or fears or wishes rather than with their minds.

The show doesn't drive home a lesson but it can open up people's minds enough for them to see how stupid every kind of prejudice can be.

President Obama stands ready to work with everyone because that's what the American people expect and deserve - not for the short term political advantages but the long term health of our country. We don't spend time trying to figure out what's in the minds of Republicans we try to keep our focus on the American people.

Those who enjoy their own emotionally bad health and who habitually fill their own minds with the rank poisons of suspicion jealousy and hatred as a rule take umbrage at those who refuse to do likewise and they find a perverted relief in trying to denigrate them.

I visited those friends who'd just had a baby and she was washing dishes and he was cleaning the house and I burst with happiness. And in their minds they were in this terrible domestic rut.
