Sports and entertainment have always been windows of opportunity for African Americans when other doors were closed.

They wanted me to play more sports because they were acutely sensitive to their children being one hundred percent American and they believed that all Americans played sports and loved sports.

The American people are sheep. They're comfortable rich working. It's like the Romans they're happy with bread and their spectator sports. The Super Bowl means more to them than any right.
