I learned that the only way you are going to get anywhere in life is to work hard at it. Whether you're a musician a writer an athlete or a businessman there is no getting around it. If you do you'll win - if you don't you won't.

I like the challenge of trying different things and wondering whether it's going to work or whether I'm going to fall flat on my face.

After two weeks of working on a project you know whether it will work or not.

You cannot escape the fact that women mould your first five years whether you like it or not. And I can't say I do like it very much.

Yet consider now whether women are not quite past sense and reason when they want to rule over men.

Whether they give or refuse it delights women just the same to have been asked.

But the true feminist deals out of a lesbian consciousness whether or not she ever sleeps with women.

Whether women are better than men I cannot say - but I can say they are certainly no worse.
