I've spent a lot of Thanksgivings on the road with my band so anytime that I can spend Thanksgiving with my family in a traditional aspect eating sweet potatoes and cranberries and stuffing and all the trappings of Thanksgiving and then get on a treadmill the next day extra long I'm happy.

Then when I got in the military I used to host - even in high school - I hosted the talent shows and when I was in the military I would host all of our base Christmas parties and stuff.

Well because I have twin seven-year-old boys I enjoy the gift giving stuff a great deal. We do both Hanukkah and Christmas so it is a costly though extremely pleasing proposition.

May I share with you my earliest memory of a political row? It was with my mother about the Queen - classic Freudian stuff shrinks would say. I was eight and refusing to watch the Queen's Christmas Day broadcast.

Christmas is a stocking stuffed with sugary goodness.

I don't know of too many double Christmas albums so it is something that's new and hopefully will be fun and there's plenty of stuff out there to cut.

I don't work a five-day week as a rule and I've managed to fill that time up. It hasn't been that hard. I volunteer at school. I'm working because I love it. Yet I don't not envy women who have a stay-at-home job because you miss stuff.
