I am both honored and blessed to have had such a wonderful career with the L.A. Galaxy and I am thankful for everything the club the fans and the community has done for me and my family.

The spiral in a snail's shell is the same mathematically as the spiral in the Milky Way galaxy and it's also the same mathematically as the spirals in our DNA. It's the same ratio that you'll find in very basic music that transcends cultures all over the world.

Should we find a second form of life right here on our doorstep we could be confident that life is a truly cosmic phenomenon. If so there may well be sentient beings somewhere in the galaxy wondering as do we if they are not alone in the universe.

Is it not careless to become too local when there are four hundred billion stars in our galaxy alone.
