I speak about family and adoption because it 100% changed my life and who I am. It definitely played a very large role into just learning how to be grateful for what you have and being fulfilled in a way that a lot of adopted kids don't feel.

And one thing I definitely enjoyed personally from a selfish point of view was exploration and going to places that I had never been to before and learning you know meeting the people and getting to know new sights and sounds etc.

It definitely has learning a lesson about the way you're living your life. I wouldn't compare our movie to that but it has a structure where it's about a man who doesn't appreciate all that he has and finds out at the end that life has been great and he has to enjoy that.

I always say the minute I stop making mistakes is the minute I stop learning and I've definitely learned a lot.

Yeah my drum programming especially is based on my knowledge of playing a drum kit. For the bass too definitely. It was the first thing that I translated any sort of ideas through. It must have shaped it somehow.

I definitely gravitate towards quality genre projects and genre of any kind whether it's science fiction horror or really anything. I'm just drawn to quality. I don't think 'Darkness Falls' is horror there isn't any gore by any stretch of the imagination.

It's definitely true that there are a lot of the devices we used on 'Star Trek ' that came out the imagination of the writers and the creators that are actually in the world today.

When we were filming 'The Darkest Hour ' we didn't even know what the aliens were going to look like we didn't even have a graphic reference. So it was definitely a big challenge to sell those kind of extreme moments when you're just generating them from your own imagination.

Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something makes sense regardless of how it turns out.

There's definitely space for uniqueness in a home console.
