I don't live for poetry. I live far more than anybody else does.
Poetry seems to have been eliminated as a literary genre and installed instead as a kind of spiritual aerobic exercise - nobody need read it but anybody can do it.

I think Ray Charles did as much as anybody when he did his country music album. Ray Charles broke down borders and showed the similarities between country music and R&B.
Through literacy you can begin to see the universe. Through music you can reach anybody. Between the two there is you unstoppable.
