For me sport was a religion... with religious sentiment.

The importance that our society attaches to sport is incredible. After all is football a game or a religion? The people of this country have allowed sports to get completely out of hand.

Waterpolo is my life. Our relationship is that of predetermination I'll never be better at anything than waterpolo and that is why it is my duty to pursue this sport as long as I can and to the best of my abilities.

EA SPORTS has a strong partnership with adidas and through this relationship they approached adidas about using some of their top players from around the world.

I think that the two of them have been doing this for a really long time and it is more like sport. Yes they would love to find a lasting relationship but it's not likely to happen the way they are going about it.

You'll be dedicated and that's what you should want to be in anything in life - whether it's sports or academics or your relationship. It all stems from finding that fun that thrill that excitement.

In England it's a rare thing to see a player smoking but all in all I prefer that to an alcoholic. The relationship with alcohol is a real problem in English football and in the short term it's much more harmful to a sportsman. It weakens the body which becomes more susceptible to injury.

So I developed very early a massive inferiority complex and I've told the story often about how that inspired me later in life to get involved in other things because I couldn't out-do my brothers in sports and it's a very competitive relationship.

The Games are just a nice positive way to build friendships camaraderie and of course self-esteem. Plus the Games are a great opportunity for people to participate in sports who normally wouldn't.

I want to contribute to sport and the community in a positive way.
