Life is about not knowing having to change taking the moment and making the best of it without knowing what's going to happen next.

In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing the next best thing is the wrong thing and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

We have to get back to the beauty of just being alive in this present moment.

The arts quite simply nourish the soul. They sustain comfort inspire. There is nothing like that exquisite moment when you first discover the beauty of connecting with others in celebration of larger ideals and shared wisdom.

My mother is a big believer in being responsible for your own happiness. She always talked about finding joy in small moments and insisted that we stop and take in the beauty of an ordinary day. When I stop the car to make my kids really see a sunset I hear my mother's voice and smile.

The beauty that addresses itself to the eyes is only the spell of the moment the eye of the body is not always that of the soul.

Praise or blame has but a momentary effect on the man whose love of beauty in the abstract makes him a severe critic on his own works.

I think we're in good hands. There's definitely much more momentum in bringing in good things to help support the show. Everyone's got a good attitude about it and I think that makes all the difference.

There are a lot of female artists my age around at the moment but they're all American and blonde and blue-eyed and smiley. I'm totally the opposite of that. I want to show a bit more attitude and I have an opinion.
