I'm a person that doesn't have that many goals or plans. I feel like I'm the wind and I blow through life it's whatever comes to me. I very much respect nature. Whatever happens to me I'm happy and I embrace it.

Religion often is misused for purely power-political goals including war.

We want to obviously foster a relationship that we're a partner with states that we all share the same goals of closing the achievement gap just as the Congress does and that we're practical and sophisticated enough to understand what they're talking about.

Though I still have no semblance of a life outside of Nine Inch Nails at the moment I realize my goals have gone from getting a record deal or selling another record to being a better person more well-rounded having friends having a relationship with somebody.

I am sure that no man can derive more pleasure from money or power than I do from seeing a pair of basketball goals in some out of the way place.

A politician's goal is always to manipulate public debate. I think there are some politicians with higher goals. But all of them get corrupted by power.

To have someone to relate to and hopefully enjoy the music and get a positive message out of it to make the best music that we possibly could those were the goals.

Certainly protecting oppressed people stopping ethnic conflict and promoting responsible governance are worthy goals. But none is as important for American security and prosperity as keeping the peace in the Middle East Europe and East Asia.

As for goals I don't set myself those anymore. I'm not one of these 'I must have achieved this and that by next year' kind of writers. I take things as they come and find that patience and persistence tend to win out in the end.

One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals.
